During the Boot Dusseldorf McConaghy presented our new line of sailing catamaransThe first yachts to be released in the series will be 50’, 60’ and 90’ high performance cruising catamarans.
Naval architecture and styling is by Ker Yacht Design. McConaghy and Ker have collaborated for many years on racing and cruising yacht projects. Ker’s experience with BAR Racing (Britain’s America’s Cup race team) have put them at the very leading edge of multihull design, which combined with their undoubted styling ability, made them a natural choice.
The series is aimed at the sailor who wants performance, safety, comfort and aesthetic design. Based on an “open plan” layout, ensuring versatile use of the boat in all conditions. The boats are designed by sailors for sailors, to attract the established catamaran sailor who just wants the best, and the performance-oriented keel boat owner looking for added comfort and volume – and a desire for speed!
