Barracuda Yacht Design, the Spanish studio fronted by Iñigo Toledo, ventures into unexplored territory with this edgy, military-influenced 65-metre explorer concept.
Very much a go-anywhere vessel, the Ice Class has the same spaces as a regular yacht of these dimensions, thanks in part to the Barracuda Yacht Design team starting from a clean sheet without having to do any adapting from an existing naval platform. The result is a strong, confident profile that exudes a feeling of military practicality and all-round capability. A high bow protects the decks in big seas too. There are four guest cabins plus one VIP and the owner’s on the upper deck. The aft deck also has a crane for hoisting two small subs, a ready-to-go tender and two off-roaders while the garage houses two limousine tenders and four jet skis.
